SolarNow a Belgian entity with roots in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania was looking for an agency to help them rebrand. The business in Uganda was quite rooted and this was their business hub for the region. Their offering of solar enabled solutions had picked up pretty well since 2015 and they had grown steadily ever since.
There was a need to diversify and serve clients in the much bigger share of B2B, and move away from their B2C consumers with time. There was also an influx in fake SolarNow products due to the influence it had in the region, and the sales personnel could not reach out to every region in pursuit of the fake items.

We found out that there was love for the Belgian founder and the company was aptly known as such by the local consumers. They had so much love for the product and the after-service, and there was also a yearning to have them still service the B2C market. We also found out that there was huge potential in Solar solutions in the Army, Hospitals, Retails Stores, Corporate Entities and major Government bodies.

We designed 3 identities they would choose from, and we had a nod from the board in Belgium for one. The logo chosen had an infinity icon, with the sun surrounding it and the font was bold but embracing. It signified the endless supply of the sun's potential and this would be the messaging for all their communication.

An endless supply of power and people for all. We maintained the orange to signify the energy, creativity and warmth, and then introduced Blue to signify Trust, Professionalism and Reliability in a bid to fully introduce them to the corporate world.
